A locked picture, or a code you can still retarget
The fixed version writes the data into the picture itself. The editable version aims at a link you can retarget without a new print run. Each one earns its place on a different job.
When a fixed code is plenty
Make it on qr-free.online, print it, and leave it alone. A menu that stays put, guest Wi-Fi, a contact card, a PDF at a permanent URL, or a sticker that says “our Instagram”.
When the target will still move
A landing that will be replaced, a seasonal menu, an A/B pair, or a separate count per place: print a single run, then steer the target and the numbers on QRcode Global.
A short check
You print 500 stickers for the year. The link will change in a month. Which type?
A split you can see at a glance
If you are unsure, or you want the numbers, choose dynamic. Getting that choice right once costs less than reprinting a run. If the content will never move, keep it static.
